Creature Comforts is a new pet tech start-up, on a mission to redesign the vet care experience for pets, pet parents, and vet teams alike. Targeting a new breed of pet owners that are demanding better for their furry friends, they set out to re-invent the standardised model with an app-based membership programme - removing barriers and making best-in-class vet care, more accessible.
Looking to translate their entrepreneurial vision into a tangible reality, we worked with them to redesign the vet care experience, positioning them as the credible alternative for an increasing number of pet owners in the UK. At the heart of our unconventional spatial design was conveying the feeling of calm, character and confidence - creating an environment to help pets, and their owners, feel relaxed and ‘at-home’. Our anti-clinical interior design language uses open vistas, soft furnishings, tactile surfaces and purposeful colour psychology alongside thoughtful design touches (like treats on arrival and toys to keep pets occupied), that make a big difference to the overall experience. Creating a vet clinic where the environment is as empathetic as the service and as characterful as the animals that frequent it.
Going the extra-mile at every stage of the vet care experience, Creature Comforts lives up to its namesake - offering both a hassle-free service experience for pet parents and a stress-free environment for pets. Initially launching in Notting Hill and St. Johns Wood, our next generation vet care experience design plans to set tails wagging all around the UK.
